Best instructor I've had so far at Iowa State. Clem really cares about you getting a good grade and will tell you exactly what you need to study for. Her lectures are great, so do not miss them. Taking this class without going to class will make it so much harder for you. She makes the content easy to understand, so don't miss class!

Does a great job explaining each concept in detail, assigns relevant homework assignments, and has very fair exams. Professor Clem a great example of an ideal college professor.

Comment:

Although this was my hardest class, she was an AMAZING professor. She is very caring and respectful about EVERYONE in the class, even though there are over 200 students in the lecture. She is always sending reminders about homework, exams, extra credit, SI sessions, etc. Study hard for the exams and work hard on the project!

Comment:

Dr. Clem is the best! She takes a class that could be a pain and makes it as interesting as she can. He lectures are incredible and she is quite funny, too. Homework and LS each week you can easy get 100% on. Exams and projects are moderately difficult but she is helpful with questions, even late night emails. You WILL be OK in this class with her!

Do the homework. If you can find a group of people to work with, the class is pretty simple. You don't need the book but you will want the PowerPoint slide notebook and the access codes. One big project towards the end of the semester, but again, if you have some acquaintances it's a breeze.

Clem is an amazing teacher who is always willing to help her students. Attendance is important because you go over a lot of materials each day. 1 LearnSmart and 1 homework assignment due each week. START YOUR PROJECT EARLY. IT IS NOT THAT HARD BUT YOU JUST NEED TIME.

Anne is a pretty good professor. Her class is set up so that you can get 100% on your homework. There's a semester project which wasn't bad but I would recommend starting right away. Her exams are easy if you do the homework. You will use the book so at least buy the online version.

Professor Clem was very good. She uses real work examples that really help you understand the content and really want you to succeed. The tests are very difficult but there is a huge project that gets you a ton of points if you do it. Also some good extra credit opportunities

Anne Clem is the best professor I've ever had. She gave you what you needed and told you what you needed to do to get an A, without spoon feeding you. I genuinely learned so much about accounting and I never felt unprepared for an exam. Don't take this if you're lazy or want to be spoonfed. She wants you to do well in both her class and at ISU.

Very easy project points & extra credit are available. If you do the work and attend class, clem will hand you an A on a silver platter. Her engaged tone and expert lectures make the material easy to understand. A lot of online homework for this class. Just do it. Its easy.

Clem has a good enthusiastic tone when she teaches which I respect, but the thing about her is that when you email her asking a question she doesnt really care. i asked her a specific question on the homework one time, and she told me to look in the book. Like maybe the reason why i asked in the first place was bc i couldnt find it in the book.

Dr. Clem is amazing! I would talk every class of hers if my schedule allowed! She makes the lectures fun and interesting. I took this as an 8 am but she made it worth getting up for. Great to listen to. Definitely take notes and use those plus the exam review for studying. Overall great teacher and class!

Dr. Clem is an awesome instructor. She's easy to understand, simplifies difficult concepts very well, gives real world examples and does a lot of demonstrations. Gives lots of opportunities to receive points too, through homework, projects, exams, and some EC. Always willing to go the extra mile to help students as well. Great experience!

Comment:

Acct284 with Clem was a class I just wanted to take it get done with, but it was much more complicated than that. All three of her midterms were very difficult and much more in depth than what we did in class. I studied for several days and hours before each exam and struggled to do average. The project and homework were easy.
