Lindemann is a wonderful professor with a sharp, dry sense of humor and an understatement that takes some getting used to for some people. I learned a lot from her, and admired the ease with which she directed classroom discussions. Couldn't rate her high enough.

Comment:

Best teacher I've ever had in my life. She made me see works of lit in ways I never thought of before. Very understanding, accepts late work at no grade cost, soft-spoken, kind, and approachable. She's a good judge of character; if you're a good student, you'll have a blast with her. She made me really glad I decided to be an English major.

Simply one of the best. Learned, understanding, comprehensive, and engaged, she exposes students to great writing and actually helps improve your own. Her IDS courses should be required for everyone as essential Gettysburg experiences. They just don't make teachers like this anymore.

This professor is unbelievable. She's in love with Annie Dillard, one of the worst writeres i've ever read, and expects us to all write like her. People who have elementary writing skills get better grades then those who are more advanced. She doesn't tell you what she wants and makes you read terrible narratives. She is just too critical.

Best English Teacher I have ever had in my life! She is just like a grandmother to her students. She really cares about you in and out of school. She will give extentions at not grade cost and is really helpful. She will make you a better writer!
