Super nice professor and she really cares about her students if you've already taken her class lucky you- she's very biased towards students she already knows. Read 7 novels, lots of short stories and poems, 5 papers, AND a midterm + final exam. Literally the hardest class I have ever taken and I'm a senior. Cool chick- will never take her again.

I really wanted to love her. I think she is super nice, but dear sweet Lord she's a tough grader. I had never made a D in my entire life until this class. The highest grade I got in this class was a B- and I'm a really good student. Would love to be friends with her, but will never take her again. Cried myself to sleep. Don't do it.

She is one of the hardest graders I have ever had. She can seem condescending and she is not exactly clear in some of the things she teaches. If you don't do the work EXACTLY how she wants it you will not get an A. More like B-F.

Dr. Debo is in love with literature. This is great, because there will never be a dull day, and most of the classes are discussions based on the readings. The only downside is, often the discussion has a pre-planned path, and she'll either ignore, or disagree with students to keep things moving. Overall, she's a total babe. Take the course.

Dr. Debo is a professor I highly recommend to those of you who are interested in English courses and quality literature as well as discussion. I found her assignments to be somewhat simple, but not everyone enjoys writing papers and reading. She inspired me to choose a minor I could enjoy.

She is interestig and has her students read interesting things. HOwever, I felt that if you didn't spell everything out in your papers then you wouldn't get the highest grade. I also didn't like that for homework if you did it she would just give you a check???? Either way, good teacher but certainly not my favorite.

she is really passionate about discussions. the class is discussion based,so be able to speak up about your ideas and opinions (she is really open to them)there isnt alot of written HW but you will have to read 2 books in her class which certain # of pages have to be read by the next class i suggest starting early!alot each day.has lots ExtraCredit

She is an amazing teacher who is passionate about English literature AND her students, whom she will go to the end of the world for. She holds discussion bases classes which fill you with soooo many prospectives on a piece of lit that you may change your mind about the way you think! AMAZING.

A very good teacher. She is always full of energy and excited about the day. She is very easy to talk to and did me a big favor by letting me redo a paper that she could have just given me a bad grade on. I would recommend taking Dr. Debo if you have a chance!
