Comment:

Great prof! You learn a lot from him and he is super nice. But there are also 12 video lectures you have to watch before class and are quizzed on them. The group projects were fun and he gave really good feedback to improve. However, he is really monotone and class is extremely boring.

Comment:

Likes to provide lots of advice on presentations and powerpoints that is helpful, but fails to take his own advice. Also, interrupts guest speakers which creates an uncomfortable class environment. The class requires you to spend a lot of money on the experiment assignment and to bring additional materials to your presentation (also costly!)

Manages to make an interesting topic extremely bland. While he uses many examples, his slides are extremely disorganized and boring. The mall and experience assignments are interesting but his feedback is very confusing. He gives specific tips for presenting but fails to use them himself. Prepare to write alot on the midterm and regurgitate slides

He is extremely dedicated and open to ideas from all his students. We had a course feedback mid-semester, and Prof. Mukherjee applied all of the changes we wanted to see in the course. He gives clear grading criteria and wants you to engage with the class (participation in class office hours). Do those things and you will get a good grade.

He is so underrated. The best marketing Prof I've had at McGill so far. He is thorough, detail-oriented, and cares a lot about the material. He gives you tricks and tips for success. I've never had such an attentive prof. Takes his job seriously. So refreshing!!!

Prof. Mukherjee was a wonderful professor, easily one of the best I've had all my McGill career. He is clear, fun, open to students. The grading is very narrow but the material is so interesting that it makes studying for everything fun. I recommend everyone to be in one of his courses. Brilliant

Worst professor ever at McGill. Arrogant, cold, and not helpful at all. Class was boring, slides was boring. You need to work extra hard to finish his exam. He barely smiled in class. Try to avoid him if possible!

This prof sucked, his slides were so confusing and although were supposed to be really organized were quite the opposite. Exams were completely unreasonable, weren't challenging but we had 1.30hours to complete a 3hour exam. Made a really interesting subject really boring and annoying.

Take him if possible! Great prof who cares about the interests of his students. A well organized, disciplined and informative class with dynamic sources of info - some things from parts of textbooks and others from journals, online, current events/sitcoms. Informative and helpful in and outside of class, and good at supplementing w/ examples. Fair.

Take him if possible! You must attend class and memorize every example. He has very specific expectations for the assignment and is very helpful outside of class. Exam marking scheme very narrow, but possible to do well. Material is interesting and he teaches it very enthusiastically. No textbook!

Comment:

Excellent professor- best Ive had for a management course. Knows what hes talking about, very interesting and makes every class fascinating. However, exams were hard- subjective. Not impossible though. Must still work in the class but you will love the subject! Definitely recommend.

I really loved this prof and this class. Couple of things though. 1. You must go to class. 2. If you go to class, take notes, and learn them, you will do well. 3. He is really nice during office hours, and quite helpful. One of the easiest classes as long as you put in the work. Kind of interesting too.
