Barb is such a valuable asset to the GAC nursing program. She has so much knowledge of nursing that she passes along to each student. She genuinely cares about each student and is the best example of the "empathy" nursing students should learn. She is sometimes a little scatter-brained but its all what makes her great!

I went on abroad with her for a J-term. The class was called With One Voice and we went to Tanzania. Although her performance as a teacher did not have a huge effect on the class, she was very good. The material she used really helped me think about my experiences.

She is a very genuine and caring person. I love habing her for a teacher and it is a pity that she does not teach the seniors. She always has the utmost respect for students and even offered me comfort when I needed to re-do a performance exam.
