I took Technical Writing and it was difficult at first. I used a tutor and it got easier. She is very meticulous and is VERY understanding. If you need extra time you can get it, depending on your situation. Overall, it was a good technical writing class.

Professor Freeland is a nice woman. She gives you the opportunity to re-do papers if you did not make a satisfactory grade on them. You do have a couple of group projects in the class but nothing major. Attendance does matter though. As long as you show up for class, do your work to the best of your ability, and participate you should pass with a B

Mrs. Freeland oozes class. She is fabulous. She is helpful, well spoken and kind. She will respect your promptness and maturity. So, do you work and put forth the effort and you will reap the benefits! You will learn alot in Writing For Work!

I loved the fact that she let us revise our papers. She is very helpful and nice. Overall a great lady and teacher. No worries here. Dont try to steal to other peoples work though, she busted people during my class and lets just day Ms. Freeland dont play. :)

Her class was extremely easy. Assignments don't even take much effort, just come to class as you miss out on random things she'll assign in her lecture if not. Book wasn't needed at all. She will absolutely destroy your paper though so be ready for that, but she will help you if you need it. Good teacher overall.

Textbook was not required, which was nice. She is very particular and will butcher your paper to her liking. She can be indecisive and is very scatter-brained. If you are a decent writer, she is somewhat easy to please. You HAVE to attend class or she will give you no credit even if you turn in "A" papers.

Highly Recommend. Very kind, helpful, courteous lady. Had her for Tech. Writing-- a great class-- she gave us interesting assignments. I learned SO much, I'm amazed! The only problem: She rarely answered e-mails-- was loaded down with too much work. Was patient with my questions after class though. Has good intentions; Does care about students.

Mrs. Freeland can be very unclear at times, and a hard grader. It is easy to misinterpret her assignments, and you don't know what she wants until you turn it in and then she tells you what she wanted! Interesting class, but horrible setup! One should help us, not break us down!!

took this professor back in 2000 for writing for the workplace. she was rude, and appeared to not favor to minorities very well. She was also unclear about things.
