Comment:

Great teacher. He is clear and gets to the point. He wants you to do well and has practice tests with the exact same concepts as the real test. He will let you out early if he finishes with the material, which happens fairly often.

Comment:

Profesor Hannum is so awesome! He made class interesting by talking about gambling, which he obviously loves. His tests are exactly like the application review he gives you before the test. Don't bother buying the textbook. He gave me extra credit for showing up to class because most people didn't and he always lets you out of class an hour early.

Comment:

Hannum is a great guy, and his class is extremely easy. He has hardly any homework, and his tests are a piece of cake. Often times he spends half of the class on a tangent about gambling, which is semi-interesting the first time, but gets repetitive and pointless after that. Overall a very easy professor and an easy A.

Bob Hannum is the man.He is a very smart professor and knows statistics.Class was always interesting because he incorporated gambling references into almost everything.I learned a lot and the workload was not much at all.Go to class and study before tests and you will do fine.

Bob is a really smart guy. I like the way he presents the material and uses some Vegas business stories to make the material come alive. I wish more teachers were like him. He's a hell of a guy. Take him if you can! The class even helped me out with understanding other courses, so pay attention. Crystal clear and you will get your money's worth!

Hannum is such a chill guy. Class is so simple...never baught the book, was on facebook the entire class and got an A. I am less knowledgeable about STATS after that class but still got an A. Do your labs and do good on 3 tests and thats all. Also, super chill and willing to help you out.

Good professor overall. Seems inflexible at first, lectures can get annoying because he only uses gambling examples and acts agitated. class gets easier as the quarter goes which is a plus.

coolest teacher ever! I loved his class, so chill. I took it the quarter before with someone else and had to drop it cause it was so hard,and after having hannum I don't know how someone could make the class that bad. He is suuuper into gambling and he brings in toys all the time. really funny and very helpful. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Great professor. Relates the material to the students in an engaging way, and explains how statistics can be used instead of just how to solve problems with no context. I am horrible with numbers and this class was the first math class I've ever enjoyed.

Wow..this class was so easy. I didn't learn a thing though, and am pretty worried how I will do in STAT 2 and 3. I took this class cause I heard it was easy, but I wouldn't recommend taking it because we didn't learn much. He's all over the place and really funny but I don't think his goal was for us to learn a lot

This class is REALLY easy. For us we no tests and no homework. We only did labs that were in class and they only covered one topic. I didn't learn much so I don't know how that will effect stat 2, but oh well. Very easy A.

Kind of inconsistent, one day we go the full 2 hours, the next day we're in class for 45 minutes. The class is extremely easy, especially if you've taken stats before. Very light courseload, but you dont learn too much.

Wow. I had to take this class? Homework isn't due until each test. There are 4 tests, multiple choice, 22 questions each. The class is a very gentle introduction to statistics. Note the word "very."

VERY easy. Class moves very slow, he gets distracted and sidetracked easily. Extra tests every friday to raise grade my 10% for an exam. Easy "A"
