Professor George was 10-20 minutes late at all but one class meeting, repeated lectures for days on end, forgot due dates he'd assigned, and took weeks to return assignments/grades. White he is clearly passionate about Chinese history, his effectiveness as a teacher is virtually non-existent. If you actually care about learning take another teacher

this teacher was never on time, and it takes him weeks to grade anything. One student gave him some work to look over so he could revise it for the final and it was never returned to the student.... The teacher was nice and all but his short comings over shadow his good qualities

Mr. George is extremely nice and very passionate about what he teaches. He is understanding, easy to talk to and very forgiving. One of my favorite teachers.

His class is boring. You could miss a class then the next meeting he will still be on the same subject. He laughs at stupid things, please note he's the only one laughing. And the dog thing was pretty funny. He loses all the work. He is very disorganized, shows up to class late and with a folder full of old news paper articles and no lesson plan.

He was the most confusing teacher I have ever had. He shows up late, loses our quizes and can never stay on topic.. His assignments make no sense. He is oblivious, I literally brought a dog to class without him noticing. Avoid him at all costs

He was a nice man but was not clear on assignments. His lectures were boring, and he liked to jump from subject to subject when lecturing. Definitely wouldn't take him again.

The teacher was never clear on what the assignments were and when you would ask him he would tell you its not his job to keep track! He had two different finals, yet he only gave a handout for one of them. He read of note cards and watched movies. He didnt know his stuff!

Pretty much the worst teacher I have ever had to get straight to the point. He is very dull and his lectures go on forever. Homework is all due at the end of the semester in one journal so if your behind you can catch up. Just don't fall behind on the reading because his lectures are useless.

on the first day he was late almost a half hour. then he kept being late. he seemed to talk about the same things at time and we were way off course. the only good thing was the final.

I was extremely disappointed with this teacher. I was hoping to get some depth out of the class- but I could honestly not come to class for over a week, come back, and he's still on the same topic. He's very unorganized, always coming late, never having his materials. All you do are ID-quizzes, and VERY boring lectures. Don't Take This Class!!!!!!!

I was really hoping to get a lot out of this class but I can't stand it! He always mixes up what he's talking about & is uninteresting to begin with. I can't help but fall asleep! His assignments are annoying to do & the book barely even discuses some topics he chooses for ID's. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS

I absolutely love history, it was my favorite subject, but Mr. George just ruined that for me. I recieved an F in his class even though I attended every class, did complete and thorough journal entries, and studied for more than 2 hours for the id quizzes. Does that sound right to you? No one had any idea what he was talking about - neither did he.

If your willing to put up with his boring lectures, take this class. Its an easy A if you do all the worksheets and are a good essay writer. For the IDS just do "who, what, where, when, why, and significance" and thats it (he'll give you a 10/10). And just write obscure, quote filled essays to get a perfect score. Easy, but boring class.

I enjoyed his lecture, but I dont think I would have taken his class for grade if I've know better. Too challenging for most of CC students, I guess. However, if you have passion in history and want some challenge, he is the right one.

Not very cear on what subject he's talking about very indirect. Isn't straight to the point and I get lost in what point he's trying to make. Assigns a quiz about every week on about 10-20 people and the quizzes are harder than hell.
