I had Mr. Walker for World Lit One online, I hated it!!! He did not grade anything until the last week of class, and he gave way too much reading in one week. The test were okay but, I never knew how I did on them until the end of the semester.

I agree. Professor Walker did not and could not explain grading. He did not even provide a mid term grade to know if you needed to drop the course. You never know your progress in the class. I found out NEVER to take his classes afterwards. It's the truth, he does not provide feeback in a COMP I class, and that's when you are a beginner to writing.

At first I HATED his class! I honestly did not think I would pass it! The first paper he grades EXTREMELY low. As the semester went on he let us re-write all of our papers, so he sucks at first but then it gets a little bit better. I still would never take him again. His class was also unpredictable.

Never, ever, ever, ever, will I take this man ever again. I am currently taking him right now. He doesn't help you, all he does is assign a test or quiz, including a paper, about every week. I manage to get most of the reading done, but his grading is just horrible. I wouldn't advise anybody to take this man. Worst teach i've had at Pulaski Tec

Took World Lit I online. And dropped the class. His quizes are eazy but those essay tests are extremly difficult and has an 80 min time limit. Unfortunately he is the only World Lit I online instructor. You might be better off going up to campus for this class.

Mr. Walker was a great teacher in my Comp. I class. Generally well regarded among classmates. Easy going, laid-back class atmosphere. Lagged behind in grading sometimes (he taught 5 other classes). Generally gave fair grades and usually answered questions well and helpfully. Wish he was teaching Comp. II this semester.

Absolutely the worst prof ever. He allows his own personal bias to enter into grading an essay's subject matter instead of its execution. Changed the online syllabus the last week of the semester to assign a new assignment but did not point out the change. When I failed to complete the assignment, I was failed, even though my average was 96.

Mr. Walker must have improved since other comments as he was rather helpful and cordial with me online. I kept track of my own grade. My only complaint is that his grading is often lagged -- but this is understandable. We have to write 1 paper, he has to read over 50 PLUS the test essays. Overall, decent online summer instructor.

He is never helpful. When I asked for help he said I should get a tutor because I should have resolved my question with the previous english classes I had! Gave me a D because I didn't turn in one paper! It was not my average score! He will only respond to your emails once a week and is rude to other class mates.

He was absent over 5 weeks in the start of the semester. That should have been the 1st sign something isn't good about this teacher. However his teaching was even worse he almost never did any actual teaching.I left the class with basicaly the same knolwedge I had before enrolling. If you enjoy reading,this is the class for you. There is alot of reading. You need to memorize every story. He will provide a quote and you have to tell him what story it came from, who said it, and what does it mean.

Very sporadic with grades. I was taking this course as a univ. student to transfer back. He did not return papers in a timely manner. Had already turned in next 2 papers by the time one was graded. I would not recommend this course. He gave very little feedback so it was hard to learn what he wanted.
