Comment:

Covey was a fairly easy and extremely laid back instructor for a 300 level course. I expected it to be much harder but nah, I barely came to class except for on test days and got an A+. Lectures easy. Great personality. Beware though. He will bore you when he goes on and on about his family experiences. It can be quite excessive but not unbearable.

Bruce was an absolutely wonderful teacher, and I sat up in the front so he would always talk with us! He is super funny and very nice, and he'll answer any questions you have even if it's on a test! His lectures are pretty interesting and relates them to stories as well!

Bruce is a nice guy. He does lecture every day in class, so attendance is not mandatory. There is not a lot of homework, and it was a pretty easy class. Bruce is funny, but sometimes the lecture can get boring. He says you need the textbook, but I did not open it once for this class. If needed, just borrow a friends book.

Super nice guy. Usually makes jokes in the beginning of class and always has a Mountain Dew or coffee. There are three exams throughout the class, but most of them have some content that isn't even taught in class. However, there are study guides before the exams that you can easily look up the answers to. Class attendance isn't needed. Easy A!

He takes forever to grade assignments, the online class is material heavy, he does not have his own lectures, and the class is kind of confusing and complicated especially the syllabus.

Bruce is a very engaging, fun professor to have. The material taught in the class is pretty straightforward and although he rarely mentions readings in the textbook, many questions on the exam came from it. I recommend actually reading from the textbook though because a high B/ low A in this class can turn to a straight A if you follow the readings

Bruce is a cool, quirky guy. He talks about his family alot which is kind of fun. He's a pretty easy grader. Get the book, exams come from that and not the lectures. Get out early and cancels class sometimes. He's pretty cool. Take 307 with Bruce!

He is a great guy and good professor. Classes are lecture heavy, but content is fairly simple and he explains it well with plenty of real life examples. I opened the textbook all but twice, so not really needed. Work outside of class is rare and is straight forward. Solid choice for a prof.

Bruce is a great professor. Lecture was not mandatory and he posts study guides for all 3 exams (p.s. all of the answers are on quizlet). Tests are a little tricky, so read your textbook about the topics he mentions in study guides. This is a totally easy class with a nice guy as the professor. I recommend this class, especially for freshman!

Comment:

This class and Bruce Covey was very interesting. He is a very down to earth guy and knows the material. He gives guides for the exam, but they aren't completely tailored it them. For a lecture class, there was a lot of interaction. One class period he brought in his young granddaughter and we observed her behavior. Great guys all around!

3 exams, 5 in class work (wasn't told in advance when), a 5 page parent interview, and a book review as a final. Presented in groups of 4, not in front of entire class. Bruce was a great prof. His lecture notes didn't align with exams so not really worth note-taking looking back. Gives a study guide for each exam. Found all answers on Quizlet.

The is a very good professor, highly recommended! Each class is pretty much 100% lecture. The class is based on 3 exams and 2 papers. Papers are very easy. Exams are kinda hard. They are not based solely on review guides so take good notes and review the. He connects a lot of things to his personal life.

Bruce is a really chill professor. As long as you show up to class and do the study guide for exams, you'll pass. There were two papers throughout the semester, but they were really easy and he is an easy grader. Definitely recommend if you want an easy class that is interesting at the same time.
