You have discussions due every Sunday. Quizzes after every chapter (use quizlet!) One paper due at the end about your favorite author, which was easy to do. The final exam are 10 open responses from the discussions, but you can use your book and take the final at home or anywhere you want. She also drops your 4 lowest discussions board grades too!

I took her for a special topics course and loved her. It was very discussion board heavy since it was a hybrid class. You need the books to do the discussion boards so make sure you buy them. The lectures were interesting, but some of the information was a little repetitive. She provides great feedback for your paper. Definitely take her!

She is not the worse but not the best. Her classes are long and repetitive. She talks about the same thing for multiple class periods in a row even though it only needed one day of discussion. You did not have to read the book however she told you everything that happened just take notes on that for your paper and you will make an A on those.

I took Westcamp for American Literature Online, and it was super, super, super easy. I barely cracked open the textbook. You do two discussion posts, reply to two, and you have a short paper and test at the end of the semester. Very easy to pass, and bonus is offered at the beginning. Take this class!

My advisor and professor for many classes, Dr. Westcamp is a must-take for students! She is ALWAYS willing to help no matter if you are in her class or not. I look up to her greatly! Show up to class, participate, get to know her - you won't regret it!

Take her online class! You don't even have to do anything but 2 short easy discussions and 2 replies to others' discussions each week. I never open the book. Use SparkNotes or just google or look over other discussions. Easiest class I have ever taken. No test until the final.

I took World Lit 1750-present Full online with her and the class was easy as it gets. No quizzes or test until the final. Just discussion and Responses on the discussion board everyweek and you can pick which ones you want to do. Easy to use Sparknotes to understand the stories and be good to go. One paper & a final and thats it, plus bonus points.

She is an amazing teacher. Very willing to work with you and help you out. She is always very cheerful and makes the class fun! Anyone who says otherwise about her knowledge of English and how easy the class is just had some issues of their own and I'm sure was their own fault!Easy A or B if you just try!

I don't see how people are saying this lady was hard. I mean, she wasn't a super easy A (I ended up with an A-), but I had absolutely NO problem with anything she assigned in my freshman english II class and never got less than a B in anything. She was always cheerful and I thought the class was a lot of fun.

I took Ms. Westcamp for both English I and II. The work load at times can be tough, especially during the summer semester, but is do-able. I passed both classes with an A. Ms. Westcamp goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the work required.

Horrid excuse for a teacher of any kind, especially English!I happen to love English and usually breeze by it, but in her class I will be excited if I managed to end with a C or B. She makes you do stuff that is completely stupid, pointless and time consuming and if you don't do it you get knocked off major pts.Don't take her for any class!!!

Horrid excuse for a teacher. Should not be teaching Major Works of Drama. She is unclear and her test are pointless. They test you over what is not important. It reminds me of a high school class. Stay away. It will make you want to skip, which is fine, as her attendance policy is only bases on 50 points per quarter.

I've taken two of her classes and never had less than an A. She is a bit unclear. She'll adjust for her class if something's not working. She knows her stuff--and expects you to know it too, which can be a problem. Her classes are easy but her tests can be hard.

Must know something in order to be head of the english department, but as far as teaching goes, she's disorganized, unclear, and not helpful. Somehow I squeezed a 90% out of her, but it took all I had, when I normally do next to perfect in english classes. I agree with whoever said she'll tell you to fix something, then count off when you do. :/

This is the same teacher as the one above, under westcamp. Her class was very disorganized, unfair, and when you ask her for "help," she tells you all the wrong things because when you follow her "helpful" instructions, she counts off your grade. Don't ever take her as a teacher. You'll regret it.
