Mr. Hill is wonderful!! Is very helpful and clear. I am not good in English at all. If you do all your essays and extra work you will do fine. He makes class very interesting too. I am taking him for English II also. You rock Mr.Hill, keep up the good work!!!!

I've had him for both Comp 1 and Comp 2 as a Freshman. He is willing to listen to ANY questions his students may have. He even reads your essay wayyy before it is due and actually tells you what you need to fix. He cares about his students a lot! I highly recommend him because he makes English actually fun. Weird right?

He is very hard, you only do 4 essays and the last 2 are worth 2 grades each they get harder every essay. A's are hard to come by and I think half the class dropped. but he is fun and he helps but he still makes you figure it out cause when he gives examples they are easy ones and you need hard ones to compare to what your doing.

Has a very strict way of grading his essays. He only takes 4 grades; your 4 essays. He is a hard teacher if you struggle with writing. He tries to make his class fun, but attendance is not necessary or mandatory. However, he does grade HARD! Unless you are exceptionally good at english, do NOT take his class!

Mr. Hill makes a potentially very boring subject very interesting and entertaining. He's full of real-life examples, scenarios, pop culture references and the like, which makes the class infinitely more interesting than it could be. You can't fall asleep in his class...go ahead, try it. It isn't possible. He keeps the class moving and learning.
