I honestly believe if students go to class, do the recommended questions, and pay attention you will pass this class easily. She goes through different types of questions from each section every class that you will find when doing homework. The only downside of Carole is that she is strict but nothing overwhelming like everyone is saying.

Lessons are on cool topics BUT DO NOT CHOOSE THIS INSTRUCTOR. She is so strict it's worse than high school. If you are late because you're trying to balance your life with work, family, and school she will be brutal. One minute late and you can't even get into the classroom. Miss a class and your way behind from the rest of the class.

Dont eat. Dont be late. Dont talk. Dont show any creativity in your answers, do it her way or no way. Do come to class early. Do comply with her rules. You won't have happiness in this class. You won't get any sleep. You will have nightmares.

Literally the worst teacher I've ever had. I failed the class with her, retook it and it was so much clearer. She makes everything more complicated than it needs to be, has stupidly strict rules and makes you feel like an idiot for asking questions. Get out of her class if possible.

Carole is the most amazing instructor. She is strict but very awesome! Do your homework and if you got stuck she will meet you and help you solve it! Im not a super hardworking person, just did the homework and got her help and got A-. You can too b/c shes awesome! Ignore negative comments and trust me!

My fellow SAIT members, i'm giving you an extreme warning in advance. If you want no social life, no sleep, and more stress than you've had in years; Then Carole Ross is your Professor. Carole had messed up my whole Business Administration learning experience. Average class grade was a D. If you don't listen to this post then I wish you luck

The worst professor/ teacher I have ever had. She makes you wait outside for half the class, even if you are a just a minute late for class, not showing even a little sympathy for student problems. She is also the hardest grader ever, it almost feels like she goes on test with objective of taking as many marks off of a test as possible. DROP ASAP.

Shes a very nice lady but be ready to show your work (i mean ever single thing down to the period at the end of the question). I Finished a test with only 2 questions wrong and ended up with a 60%. DONT BE LATE EVEN BY A MINUTE OR ELSE SHE WONT LET YOU IN. i'd suggest switching teachers unless if you are a self learner.

Not the best instructor I've ever had. Her late policy is a little ridiculous. Won't let you in if you're a few minutes late - even with a doctor's note. Tests are ridiculously hard and unfair.

Carole is a good teacher but she is extremely condescending and can get a little bit rude. I could never ask questions because she would make me feel dumb. Overall she teaches everyone as if theyre in pre school which made it easier to understand but annoying at the same time. Do not skip. Every day is a whole new thing

Carole was the best math teacher I ever had! She was very friendly as long as you follow her few classroom rules. Shes a tough marker but it pays off in the end. Some of her processes may seem tedious, but they really help with the following levels of math. Shes also very easy to talk to and even baked muffins and pie for our class occasionally!

Comment:

I had Carole for BMAT230 in the winter semester of 2017. Only pro is that she is competent with the course material. Carole will kick students out if they walk in >60 seconds late even if shes not ready to begin teaching yet. If you are unable to follow her during the lecture, you are more likely to be scolded than assisted.
