Its really easy if you liked INFO 301. The entire class is Access and SQL. Her tests are on 3 chapters with one page open notes. The study guide says what is on the test. She is a really good teacher, I actually learned a lot. The group project is HARD. You have to start early, can't last minute it. Need the book. Overall: Good class Great Prof.

Stay on top of your work and this class is pretty much a piece of cake. Beise is willing to help you with any questions you have, but dont wait until the last day to finish the assignment! You are pretty much taught how to do everything, not much guessing work. She is a pretty good professor and always gave us chances to improve our assignments.

Overall a good class. Would have been better with a different prof -- She is unorganized, clueless, and a complete pushover. Group projects are so time consuming. Monitor your grades in WebCT because she changed a few of mine. Oh, and it's 100% acceptable for her to get up and leave in the middle of the class, but NEVER ok for you to.

Overall she was a good teacher. Her tests were easy - especially since we could have a cheat sheet but the final exam wasn't as easy. I agree with some of the other postings - definitely try to get with a group of smart people or at least people who care about what grade they get for the project because it takes some work.

Horrifyingly boring class, bring TWO pillows. Tests are avg., you get a 5x8 index card cheat sheet, final's insane, get with people who are smart for the project. She's nice enough, she just talks and talks and talks and...u learn everything from the notes (not while in class)

All tests are open notebook open computer. You can do the tutorials for extra credit and you can do the homework in the class it's assigned and she will help you with anything you don't understand. No attendance policy...you can choose to just come on test days and e-mail hw in
