Worst book list I've ever seen for a course on Modernism. Kodat is brilliant, but she's less compelling in class than other English teachers I've had. Also falls into the English department pitfall of never, under any circumstances, rewarding a paper with an A. Doesn't seem to realize she's a square.

brilliant woman, fantastic syllabus, engaging class discussion. definitely has the air of a professor who knows she is lightyears in intelligence beyond her students - and it shows. not as hard of a grader as i thought she'd be.

Comment:

Kodat is one of the best Professors at Hamilton. But make sure to come into her class expecting to do work because she takes her classes seriously and expects you to respect that. If you work hard and write well, she'll definitely reward you. Also, she makes every class very engaging.
