She is an amazing and caring professor! I took her for developmental and she was the best! Her lectures are very interactive and keep you engaged the whole lesson. She also does a lot of in class activities to help with your understanding which i liked a lot. Her tests can be very hard, but if you study and work for it you will do just fine.

Shes very nice, but her tests are VERY hard. No matter how much you study and read, you will still struggle on the exams. The online quizzes are also confusing and they are timed.

Had her for Developmental Psyc. The class is very very book heavy. There are video quizzes and online quizzes about every other week. Our class average for our first exam was a 71 and she thought the problem was us not studying hard enough when in reality it was her lack on instruction and not so good teaching.

Dr. Massey makes the info easily applicable to your daily life, making it easier to remember. She is very fair, approachable, and offers a ton of extra credit. The chapters can be time consuming and launch pad can be annoying, but the class was a lot of fun and the material was interesting and worth knowing. Massey is an overall great prof

Dr. Massey is a great woman. She is absolutely hilarious and so sweet She uses inquisitive online for homework. They go right along with the book and her lectures. Her tests are all application of material questions, so if you study by doing the inquisitives a bunch you'll do just fine. Overall a great class; you just need to put the effort in.

Dr. Massey is hilarious! Take her for any psych class. Her tests are tricky, I believe my class averaged a 60%-70%. You have to read the book in order to be successful. She makes psych interesting and fun.

The entire class is lecture but she is very sweet and often goes on tangents. She is passionate about psychology and will thoroughly answer any question you ask. If you show up, complete all the work, and look over the notes before exams, you should pass the class with an A easily.

I had Dr. Massey for my Freshman Seminar class. She is a wonderful lady! Attendance is a must and she made the transition to SRU easier. She helped us to understand the major of psychology better and gave us resources from around the campus. She helped us outline our spring semester schedule before registration, which helped me tremendously!

I love Dr. Massey! She always incorporates stories with each lesson, and some are personal which is nice to get to know her and relate!! She's big on the LGBT topic, though! She gives great feedback on papers turned in, as well as if you email her! She gives "itnquizitives" each chapter and other papers, which can be a lot, just manage your time!

She gets off topic a lot and starts talking about gender studies and LGBT topics. Has inclass assignments randomly, worth 5 points each and are pretty much for attendance. Does offer extra credit. MyPsychLab is required, takes forever to complete. Tests are extremely hard and don't relate to MyPsychLab questions or the powerpoint. Not an easy A.

Weekly quizzes with 2-3 exams that are somewhat difficult. Attendance is not taken, but she gives in class assignments occasionally. Notes are online. Requires you to find research studies & briefly describe it in class (4/semester) and 3 diversity events-go to an event on campus and do a worksheet write up. Extra events are extra credit. Take her!

Dr. Massey is a pretty good professor, she's there for her students and gives her students all the tools that they need to pass and succeed. Her tests are really long and the wording is usually what gets people. Study really hard, read the book, and pay attention.

She doesn't allow laptops to be used unless you are on disability and will call you out on it, in the middle of class. She goes on and on about something even after she's already finished discussing the topic and gives random anecdotes that hardly make sense.

The online course was very easy. The majority of answers for quizzes and exams are on quizlet, the paper is basically opinion, and the worksheets are not bad. Basically if you just try a little you are easily able to get an A.

She's a decent prof but really not the best. She rewords a lot of stuff on the tests and that's overly screwed me for the semester. A lot of people in my class haven't done well on the tests and I studied a lot for her tests. She gives random in class assignments. She covers so much information at one time. I won't take her again.

Read off the slides mostly but very into the class. Extremely nice and always responded to emails. Take the quizzes and tests seriously and make sure to look over everything because that's the majority of your grade. Doesn't take attendance but does 5 point in-class assignments randomly. Everything was pretty straight forward.

She is a great teacher and my favorite psychology professor. She's really interested in the subjects she teaches and that helps when she's teaching the material. Although her classes are not mandatory, I would recommend always going. Her tests can be hard if you dont attend. I would take her if there is a choice!

She's an okay teacher, not bad but not the best. She's really into developmental and gay & lesbian studies, you can tell because she spends lots of time talking about it. She doesn't take attendance, but she does have random in-class assignments and that's how she takes attendance. It was easy, if I would have studied I would have gotten an "A".
