Comment:

Krizan was the best math teacher I've ever had. He cared for all his students and made sure EVERYONE knew what to do. He would teach one lesson a 5 DIFFERENT WAYS until everyone was able to comprehend it. We used his textbook for the quizzes at every Friday (super easy, you just copy the hw -- grade booster!) I love love love Krizan!!!!

Dr. Krizan is kind and helpful. He is fun and is able to come to a students level to help them understand. I hated math before I took this course and Im starting to like it a little bit more now.

Dr. Krizan is a cool guy! Was an emergency hire for MAT103 this yr but definitely knows his stuff. 3 tests throughout the semester, every Friday he gives a homework quiz where you just copy your homework over on the quiz & hand it in. Explains multiple ways till students understand. Overall great guy, but don't expect to get your grades handed back

It really depends on how you paint, I personally don't like oils. I did my best and he gives great feedback. You have to take prerequisites first before taking intro to painting. but over all it was a interesting class. Beware you can get oil paint and acrylic on your clothes. There is hooks out side for them.

Krizan is undoubtedly one of the worst professors in the fine arts department. As a studio art major, I dropped this class because he made it so unbearable and dull that I couldn't justify staying for the remaining month. His ignorance and rude attitude toward his students is unacceptable. Don't subject yourself to this monstrosity.

Krizan is a great professor. you start out drawing boxes which gets repetitive, but it gets more exciting as the course goes on. He teaches you really helpful skills to approach drawing. He's also a really funny and nice guy. I recommend taking drawing with him.

I think I got the same exact grade on ever single one of my paintings. I swear he just looked at my name in the grade book and said okay she gets a "B". I think it was very difficult to get an "A" in this class. I'm not extremly interested in painting but I think he really knows his stuff and he can be very helpful and knowledgable.

i really did not enjoy his class in the slightest. no matter how many times i told him i did not want him to paint on my project he would anyway. i learned nothing from his class. i would highly recomend that you avoid taking him as a painting prof.

This is the second time I had him and he's still a great teacher. He's very into helping the students out. He comes around the room and makes suggestions, so if you're having trouble, speak up when he gets to you and you'll have no problems. I really learned a lot in his classes.

I have Krizan for Drawing 2 now also. He's really nice once you get to talking with him. He's more than happy to help anyone. The subjects we had to draw were so-so, could have been more exciting. But overall, he's a great guy and I'd suggest taking his class.

I thought he was a great guy. I would definately take him again. At first he seemed a bit traditional, and I was afraid he would not like my style of painting, but he is open-minded and does appreciate a unique interpretation as long as its done well.
