She is a flake. I do not recommend her on any level. She doesn't consistently grade, critique or really do anything. She responds well to flattery (she has a very large ego) but you will not learn anything in this class. If you want to buy an A and can handle kissing up then you'll get it. Pay for the tuition and laugh at every joke and that's it.

What an awesome lady. She's very active in theater (a fantastic actress) and will love you if you show any attention towards theater. Be interested and engaged in her lectures, and shell love you. And by all means, LAUGH at her jokes! She's funny!

The book is absolutely horrible, but read it because that is what the midterm and some of the final is based off of. Attend class and participate by asking questions, it helps your grade a lot. Speeches really are not that hard, and she was absent a lot during the semester I took it.

This class was really helpful in making you confident in speaking in front of an audience. My advise is to show up, and just try. Even if she doesn't seem like she likes you if you try and show that you have learned something you will mostly be given a good grade. You do have to read the text book but its really short and most of its common sense.

I actually thought this was a ridiculously easy class. Just a general idea of the chapter got you a high grade on the quiz, so readings took no time at all. Attendance was CRITICAL, because it is a huge part of your grade. Speeches are important -- have a good outline & speak confidently. And she gives you the answers to the final, so listen!

She's a very dynamic lady and loves teaching the class. The quizzes are rediculously easy, but she can be tough on the speeches. Overall, the quality of her class is good and is an easy teacher to listen to.

Her personal opinion seems to matter more than the content of our presentations. She has been a no show for class twice! And another time there was a cancelation sign on the door so all the people that get there early left, she held it against us!She's even had her husband come in to grade us!
