Chun's easily one of the best profs I've had at UP. He moves a bit fast, but he's always willing to help and he makes a lot of concepts clear that are horribly explained in the book. He wants everyone to succeed, but you have to work for it! Lets you correct everything to get back points. He also teaches a lot of nifty tricks. Definitely take Chun!

Amazing prof! You could skip classes and read the text book, but if you actually pay attention to what he says, his classes are really easy. Lots of extra credit. He wants his students to receive all A s. Love him!

First off, the man is brilliant. Chun is without a doubt the best science or math professor I've had at PSU. I never thought I'd enjoy a math class as much as I did his. He is extremely helpful, does many examples in class, and prepares his students well for exams. He's very engaging in class and is a fair grader.

Absolute genius, and without a doubt one of the nicest guys you'll ever encounter. He was always willing to help his students & go to great lengths to ensure they understand the material. He's got like 9 degrees in every subject ever and is really good at relating the mathematics to real world applications. Best professor I will ever have.

While his english is hard to understand at times and he does talk very fast, Professor Liu is without a doubt the greatest professor I have ever had. I missed the deadline to sign up for the final conflict exam and he went to great lengths to get me in. He is always willing to help and wants you to get an A in the class more than you want to.

Professor Liu is by far the best professor I had at Penn State. He fully knows the material inside and out, while also fully understanding how to teach it to his students. Professor Liu puts in so much extra time and the students can all tell how much he cares that we do well and understand the material. Wish I could take another class of his.

Math 251 isn't an easy A class. Whether you take it with this prof. or not u'll have to work, but how much u have to work is the question. The prof. myt b hard 2 understand at time, but he's very willing to help, gives alot of chances to help improve grades. Go to class, take & study the notes and u'll do well. In short take him $ u wont regret it.

This class is obviously a difficult cours. But with the help of the teacher, using his tricks, and reading the book, it was easy. He gives no quizzes, and homeworks, if you show you tried you get 100%. Go to his office hours, and show you care. He lets you re-work exams if you do poorly as well.

runs from students who ask him from help. literally would schedule appts then not be in his office at the time. he was my adviser and could barely understand my questions since his english is poor. then he would give my poor advice that didn't help. not helpful, would avoid him if you can.

This guy rocks! His english isn't the clearest, but he's cool as hell. Probably one of the only professors I've had that I would consider inviting to a party. I don't know if he can teach or not, I never paid attention in the classes I did attend.
