Easily my favortie teacher at LHU! She is always available to sit with you and talk about anything that may be an issue. She even gives out her home phone! Willing to work with you if you have any obligations that mean missing class or alternative assignments. SUPER personable. A great person to have in your corner cuz she knows everyone!

She is an extremely nice person. She's one of the professors that actually try to get to know you. If you have questions she doesnt hesitate to answer them. Only 2 exams midterm and final, not hard because she tells you what to study.

Nicest person you will ever mean. Sweet older lady who listens and to you and will give you points back, if you have a good argument. She will learn your name and wants to see you succeed. Classes are EASY.

Amazing professor. She cares more than any professor I've ever met. She always has fun activities planned. She tells you on the very first day of class "I love teaching and you'll see that through this class." and it's so true! She is so sweet and kind and you'll never regret taking this class. It does require effort on your end though to do work

Dr. Allen is my favorite professor at Lock Haven. I had no interest in her class before taking it but I needed it to fulfill a gen ed requirement. However it quickly became my favorite class. She is so caring and wants her students to do well. She is great at explaining things and always makes the material interesting. She is an amazing woman!

Dr. Allen is the most caring professor you will ever meet. She truly wants her students to do well and you will find out that it isn't a difficult thing to do. This was a basic health class so it wasn't difficult at all!

Dr. Allen is probably the best role model a education major, or anyone in that field of study would want to be. She gives you everything you need to get an A in the class. She is very easy to talk to, always responds to her e-mails, and never hesitates to push assignments back to give you more time to work on them in the event something comes up.

Comment:

Dr. Allen was by far my favorite professor at Lock Haven. I took this class as a gen ed. I was really worried about how I would do prior to taking it, because I have little interest in health. She made the class fun by using hands on learning. She gave a quiz weekly, but they are easy to pass if you look over the materials beforehand. Only 2 exams!

Dr.Allen is by far my favorite professor! She is so helpful both in and out of class and helps students understand. She gives weekly quizzes which are pretty simple and has organizers to help study. Plus she's such a nice person and makes class interesting. Highly recommend.

The best professor in the HPE department. I wish that students had the opportunity to get to know her earlier in their college career because she is very helpful. She is also a great person that everyone should get to know.
