Very nice guy, clear explanation on assignments and different topics. Weekly homework projects get longer as the year goes on, but not too bad if you have any java background. 3 Exams which aren't too bad either. Having some background in Java will help, but not needed. Very personable guy and really enjoyed his class compared to some other CS prof

Dr. Presser is easily the best professor in the department. He is fair and very reasonable in his expectations. He is also regarded as the best to go to for office hours. I've learned the most in his classes

Comment:

My favorite professor. His class allows many different learning styles, and I cannot imagine a student who wouldn't find his class a good fit. I strongly recommend reading the book because the material comes up on quizzes, and quiz scores tend to make the difference between an 'A' and a 'B'. I loved his office hours; that's when I learned the most.

I didn't like the way he explained concepts. It was more, here's the code and this is what it does without the reason behind it. In the way that I learn, which is hands on, he is not the best teacher to cater to that way of learning.

One of the best professors I have ever hard. Take him if you want to take quizes that always score high and ask existential questions. Be warned though his good looks can ruin your concentration.
