Super awesome guy. His classes did tend to get boring, but he is just awesome ok. Super sweet, laid back, and easy to talk to. He'd always have us schedule individual meetings to discuss upcoming papers and gave great feedback. Never had to do too much at one time because he'd give you a lonnnng time to do assignments. Easy grader.

Take Lane for intro to creative writing! he is the best and he is very nice. I really enjoyed this class and it was a lot of fun. We did a lot of writing but it was all creative and fun.

He's a nice guy, but a fool. He certainly talks like an intellectual but doesn't really know much to be quite honest. However, he does grade both harshly and honestly with papers. Yes he can be VERY biased (and I was liberal too) but writing is his thing and he grades it well. If you put in an excessive amount of work, it will show

A decent, friendly person; however, he is definitely not qualified to teach the course I was in. Often students had more knowledge about the subject matter than he did and he once attempted to claim that the words "face" and "cap" rhymed. A nice guy, but you?re not likely to learn much from him, and his classes are more than a little uninteresting.

Class is pretty boring, but he's not that bad of a teacher. You do not really have to pay attention in class. Will write good comments on your paper, but only give you an ok grade. Very willing to help if you meet with him. Don't switch out of his class b/c its not that hard, but there are better English teachers at Gettysburg.

Will Lane is a very nice guy and he talks with enthusiasm for his field (albeit in a boringly monotonous voice). I did often question his thought process when grading---He'll write glittering comments all over your paper, but give you a mediocre grade!! Overall, he's average but a VERY nice guy!!!

professpr lane, while a great guy outside of the classroom, is an extremely biased grader. He picks his favorites, and if ure not one of them, then u will get the same grade on EVERY assignment u do regardless of ur effort. bring another subject to do in class-otherwise ull fall asleep.
