Dr. Sturm is a very easy grader. If you do the work (with the minimum amount of effort) you will have a good grade. BUT, she is nuts when it comes to papers. I have NEVER written so many papers in my life... Every freaking week.. So here is the deal. If you have the time, take her. But be ready to do a lot of writing (and I really mean that).

Okay first off I would def take her class for Comp 3 because it's an easy A. She does not grade papers harshly at all. However, this lady is just very odd. This is not your typical writing class. It is more of a poly sci class. She seems very opinionated, so my advice would be to just write papers that agree with her opinion.

At first I really didn't like her. She discusses many issues in ways I disagreed with, but isn't afraid to listen to other views. I'm glad I took the class because it appealed to my creative side. So she's a little crazy, but so am I, that's the fun of it. If you want the same old, don't bother. If you want to think in different ways, go for it.

She says that she is trying to get us to think freely when in actuality she feeds you her **** and expects you to listen to it and believe it. If you're anybit conservative in your views, don't take her. She says she's not political, yet depises "Bush and his evil-doers." The papers are easy, but her classes are all rants about stupid stuff...

She is a very easy teacher and she is very nice. She is always willing to help you and to make sure that you get everything that you need done. The papers are easy you only write one or two and she doesn't want them more than 2 pages double spaced. You'll like her a lot, she definately treats you fairly, and she grades easy too.

I took Connie first semester my freshman year. It was amazing. She talks to you as an equal, is willing to negotiate due dates, and is an all around nice lady. . . a little crazy, but who isnt?

Well if you want an easy A then Connie is the person for you. You watch a lot of movies and then write about something dealing with the movie. She makes many good points and causes you to look at the picture in a totally different way. Yes she is CRAZY and teaches you the same thing in comp 2as1, but she would do anything for her students.

I learned more in one week of my Comp 1 class than I learned in this entire class. The class is a joke and every single person in the room knows it. Rather than teach us anything, she fills time with pointless episodes of South Park. If your opinion differs from hers, expect to be looked down upon.
