Profe Shouse is an awesome Spanish professor! I was dreading an 8am class, but he made classes bearable and interesting. There is a pretty decent amount of homework and participation in class is super important. If you work hard and do your best, you will be just fine in his class! He is also pretty funny and cares about his students a lot!

I loved shouse as my prof. He was always helpful when I had a question and he was good at explaining things. He does like participation from everyone and often makes you have new groups everyday to meet people. His oral exams are with everyone not just him individually so it was nice and un-stressful.

Corey is really good at teaching Spanish, but he has a very unique personality. He talks a lot about his personal life and it can get a little bit uncomfortable at times. I learned a lot of Spanish from him and he wants everyone to participate as much as possible. His oral exams are with the whole class and aren't one on one with him.

Corey is very energetic and always tries to engage the class, and he is thrilled when you demonstrate you know Spanish. He'll even have your class for dinner if you're lucky! Be able to know how to write in Spanish, some speaking skills are helpful. You'll learn lots of vocab. But in the end, he genuinely just wants you to do well!

Having him for an 8:00 am class MWF was tough when it was hard to switch my brain on to a foreign language. He does a lot of class participation so be prepared to talk even if you don't feel confident in speaking spanish. He likes to engage the class with some joking around. He is specific in how he wants the spanish writing to be.

Super fun prof, but get ready to participate. It's impossible to get through a class without being required to answer a question or participate in a class activity. It definitely helps you learn, but some students aren't a huge fan of it for obvious reasons. Slightly disorganized, but doable if you stay on top studying and ask necessary questions.

Participation is huge with Corey. He will often randomly call on students for answers, but he will usually help you through the answer if you don't know it. His tests are pretty easy if you study, and there is a 5 point quiz every day. He also keeps the class moving forward, so he makes an 8:00 some what enjoyable.

Participation is essential. He likes to call students out in class. Tests aren't too difficult if you study enough. He is somewhat unorganized.

Corey is a very interesting prof. He is a very nice guy, but looks for a lot of class participation. If you don't feel comfortable with this then do not take him. The tests are easy. Almost every class has a 5 point pop quiz if you did the homework you will be fine. Take him if you're comfortable with speaking spanish.

Profe Shouse is an interesting prof. He has his quirks which make class fun and interesting. I give him props for keeping me interested at 8am. Class is mostly a review of material assigned from the book. He uses lots of different ways to go over vocabgrammaretc. with us. Expect small daily quizzes, they aren't bad, I promise. Overall, easy A.

Profe is not by any means an easy prof. In class he puts people on the spot constantly and this makes some people really uncomfortable. If you can take the pressure, than he's a good teacher, but if not, STAY AWAY. He isn't always clear in class, but if you meet with him 1-on-1 he's fantastic at explaining things.

The homework assignments are so unclear. He hardly takes any time to explain them in class. He does not hand out an explanation on paper that you can look back to.

Nice guy, but basically only asks questions during class. He doesnt explain how to congegate verbs much, just tells you how to say words you dont know that are not relavent. Not easy either, tests are fairly hard. Personally, I'd advise going elsewhere.

Tries to make class interesting but expects a lot. Doesn't explain concepts very well sometimes. Small quizzes almost everyday and great emphasis on participation. As long as you try (even if you say it wrong), the participation grade will be higher and help your final grade.

Ability to clarify assignments is questionable. Also not consistent with incomplete work and his rule on it.

Cory can basically be summed up as "Nice guy, bad prof". He expects the book is enough to explain key concepts and grammer, which it is not. The class seems to move at pretty fast pace, especially if you are a little out of touch with your spanish. It wasn't a horrible class, but I'm not taking him again.

Corey is a very demanding professor. Very intimidating and very immature at times. He wants everything in his class to be very important to you and he can overwhelm you with large and excessive work loads. Very rare chance that you will like Corey. He kills his potential for fun with his high pace and over the top attitude.
