Comment:
Signed up for his LBST 2213 last minute as it was one of the few remaining that would satisfy my last LBST credit. The first weeks of this class are strange and give you mixed signals about what it will be. Trust me, it is the easiest A you will ever get in college. You watch movies and listen to him ramble, and an assignment every 3 weeks.

Dale is all about being there for students that want to learn something. Clearly daylighting oriented but is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of architecture. Get to know him!

For LBST 2213: Do not take if you actually want to learn anything. He means well but speaks softly, has pointless slides, and rambles. We do 4 "modules" which are 4 slide power points instead of tests with clear grading criteria and that is your whole grade. Attendance is taken maybe once every two weeks. You can tell he loves architecture.

He is clearly a very smart guy and can be quite funny. He is a soft speaker so don't put him in a large lecture hall!

This is a "Go Green" class. The homework assignments, tests, and lectures has little to do with one another, he speaks very soft and is boring. The powerpoint slides are pointless pictures with nothing to help you with the test. When you get to the midterm and see the "Study Guide", google cannot help you. There isn't a text book either.

Mumbles and talks quietly in a big lecture hall... hard to pay attention because class is always the same, boring, not very engaging.

one of the best teachers at the school. But hard to get to know. You must want to learn to get what you want out of it. If not you were not looking to begin with. He is calm and patient, and looks out for the intererest of the student as well as the lighting lab facilities and research projects.
