Dana pushes you and sometimes gives you more work than other professors but she is the best professor I had freshman yea! You will never get bored in her class. However, there are a good amount of scholarly readings most nights with discussions the next day.

Dana is a very good professor. She genuinely cares about her students and goes out of her way to give everyone feedback. She's not shy about being upfront if you're clearly struggling in her class (which is hard to do). She is very flexible with her deadlines and often asks for her students opinions on certain lessons/units.

Dana's class was very helpful for anyone interested in media, journalism, or public relations. She always keeps things moving and covers a variety of topics. The class is certainly not boring. There is a LOT of writing, though so be prepared. Also, Dana isn't the most sympathetic person. She can be pretty intense. Overall, a very fun class.

Dan is a straight up BOSS. She is so helpful and clear with the things she says. Also, her FYS class usually gets named one of the classes with the most interesting topics for FYS. She helps you improve your grammar tremendously, and she doesn't accept mediocrity. I recommend you take her. You WON'T regret...:)Hands down a very interesting class.

She is great. Very interesting and fun. She realtes well to all of her students. She rips apart your assignments to the core but allows you to learn from your errors. She focuses the lectures and assignments on what the class is interested in. She is very funny and I would love to have her again.
