Excellent professor. Really cares and is very funny! Interesting assignments. I had him for one of the toughest English courses: Pursuits of English. Alongside Bronson, Jacobs taught that class. I'm thankful Bronson was my professor though. Excellent man. He's my favorite professor at MSU. Put in hard work and interest, and you'll get an A!

Comment:

Bronson became one of my favorite professors after getting to know him a bit better. He knows so much about his field right off the top of his head, and he's also really down to earth. However, he is pretty honest if you say a stupid comment or make errors in class, but he doesn't mean to be rude. He's easy and I learned a lot.

Professor Bronson is understanding, funny and interesting. He gives you a lot of freedom to write about what you want as long as you talk to him before hand. He did not come off as arrogant or anything of the sort during the time I spent in his class, so I would not pay any attention to those comments on this site.

Great Professor. You may not realize it at first, but down the road you will be quoting this man. He is brilliant, down to earth, and a great teacher. He has a way about him that makes his classes engaging and the learning process fun. Don't leave MSU without taking at least one of Dr. Bronson's courses...I've had him twice and wish I had more.

Awesome professor. We all have to take the class so it is what it is but Dr. Bronson is one of my favorite English professors now. We actually talked about South Park in class how awesome is this guy! He's very fair with grading i would say even gives you benefit of the doubt. At least they were clear about the class content

Awesome prof - not quite sure I learned much in the class, but it was always a treat to attend. This man has stories about EVERYTHING. It seems he knows all and has seen all. I wish I could take another class with him, but I'm not an English major, so I probably won't. The amount of work he gives is totally fair and he doesn't grade too toughly

Simply the best English professor at M.S.U. Not only is he brilliant but also he is non-political, which means that he stands alone in the English Dept. He does not push literary theory nonsense in the class, but rather allows for an open-minded discussion of the texts. Really a GREAT professor!

Awesome teacher, great personality, and interesting. Weekly reaction papers on class discussions and films and we had to write a paper for our final. Makes class and the subject more interesting and I never fell asleep! Would definetely take again.
