Comment:
In lectures, he would often jump straight into solving equations on the board and rarely explaining the fundamental concepts behind them. Because of this, it was hard to follow and I was lost most of the time. I found reading the textbook far more useful than attending lecture. He also doesn't provide you with any materials to study for exams.

Dave is an honest and passionate teacher. And he is a really great guy. Focus during lecture, do the homework seriously and you'll do good. He makes sure everyone has a good understanding of the theories of physics. Curve is amazingly helpful

Ugh. horrible. totally unclear in lecture, just does problems without actually EXPLAINING the concepts behind them. the midterm was only three questions- obviously a very bad thing! The good thing about him though is that he really curves...a 35% on the midterm was a b... but if you actually want to learn don't take him!!

112 was pretty good with Belanger. It's his field of study so he was definitely had some interest in the material. The homework and the midterm were both easy and straight forward, but the final was a shocker. He definitely tried to be helpful in this class.
