Highly recommend. She can be very intimidating at first, but if you do your work and participate in class she really isn't that bad. She expects A LOT from her students, but I feel that is why I learned so much from her. FYI tests are all written. She is the only professor I've ever actually read the chapters, which is important for her tests.

She is not an easy professor. The tests are definitely not easy. The exams are apparently worth 70% of the grade but actually they are really worth less. I think she just has that in her syllabus to stress the importance of the exams.

Disrespectful, makes invalid assumptions about your interests in the class, putting you on her "poo-poo" list. Tests difficult and study guides are useless. close minded and thinks physical education is the one and only thing that matters. hates dodgeball for made up reasons that it cannot possibly teach anything of value.

Dr Garrahy is not even close to as bad as people say she is. The class is a lot of work, but as long as you stay on top of things you'll do totally fine. She's very intimating but once you get to know her you will begin to like her. Really good teacher :)

She was a nice teacher but since KNR 222 is a class for future classroom teachers, not gym teachers, she had a bias. She thinks gym is the most important thing in the world and if you do not agree you will not get a good grade. Try extra hard and the more you suck up the better she grades you.

Here's the thing about Deb Garrahy, she likes students who work hard and take the profession seriously. How many PE students do those things? In my opinion very few. I busted my tail and got an A in her class. She appreciated my hard work. But others who really didn't understand what it means to work hard weren't treated the same.

She isn't as bad as some of these people say. She tries to scare you with the things she says in class. Generally helpful if you go to see her 1 on 1. Be ready for her essay tests. I have to say I learned a lot in her classes so in that aspect I think she is a good teacher.Got B's in both of her classes, would have been A's if not for her pop quiz
