I absolutely love Falcioni. He is so encouraging, respectful and challenging to his students. He not only wants you to succeed in his class, but wants you to become a better person. I took Ethics with Falcioni and I was so inspired by his insightful, engaging lectures that I made serious changes to my life in regard to my morality. An amazing man

Comment:

After starting Chaffey in Fall 2016, I am finishing my last semester before transferring this Fall 2019. As I look back on all the classes I've taken and all the professors I've had, Prof. Falcioni is my favorite. He's just cool and makes class interesting. If you pay attention, takes notes, read your book, and can write an essay, you're golden.

Comment:

Loved this class. He made it so interesting and engaging. I learned a lot from him and he is very knowledgeable. He really loves what he does and wants his students to engage with him. His discussion boards were easy if you do the required reading. Has written exams but if you prepare with the study guide you should be fine.

Comment:

I prfessor Ryan's class in fall 2017. He is a great teacher, and very knowledgeable. He loves what he does and he makes the whole class engaging. I missed him as a great teacher and hope I take one of his other classes in the future.

Comment:

Ryan is a very compassionate and thoughtful guy who honestly listens to his students and doesn't shoot down their opinions. You'll have to get used to interject if you want time to talk in class because the discussion is loosely structured and Ryan also has a lot to say. His assignments and papers are very straight forward.

Comment:

Although overall the Holocaust class was mainly history with prof Loomis(read his reviews too), when Falcioni taught, his lectures were clear and always interesting. He stayed on topic and was always interested on his students input no matter the depth. He was always understanding and gave great insight! Great professor, hands down.

Great professor! Super nice and will help you! I would like to say something that no one has said on here... I would NOT recommend taking this class if you do not have a background of knowledge of religion. Final is hard if you do not understand the class lectures. I was confused 70 percent of the time on the lectures. 3 papers and 1 final

Falcioni was awesome!!! I took his honors philosophy in the fall and hes a great professor. His lectures are crazy interesting and he truly is a super caring and charismatic guy. HE makes learning awesome and is super understanding, he doesn't even feel like your teacher that's how cool he is. He makes the learning environment super chill!!

I had Dr. Falcioni for his honors ethics seminar. He is slightly on the tough-side of grading but is INCREDIBLY helpful in office hours and wants his students to succeed. To offset any difficulty the course may pose he offers occasional extra-credit opportunities. He is the most intelligent and talented professor I have had at Chaffey!

I took Mr. Falcioni this passed Fall for Honors Philosophy 72, and it was pretty freaking awesome! If you enjoy interacting with classmates, this class is for you. If you enjoy discussions that involve everyone's different perspectives and points of view, this class is for you. Material learned in this course will stay with you long after finals.

Professor Falcioni is a great professor. He is always willing to help out on papers and is super knowledgeable. His lectures are interesting and he is easy going. There are three papers and your final which he gives you a guide in advance to study off of. I would totally recommend taking him.

He looooves religion. Will thoroughly engage in discussions. Really enjoyed his class. A bit of inspirational and funny. Easy to talk to. Easy final. You will learn about other religions, sects, and views. Made class interesting. Would take him again. homework was doing journals online per certain amount of pages read. About every 50 each week?

Professor Falcioni is one of the best professors I've taken at Chaffey. He truly cares for his students and makes them work for their grade. He is also always available if you ask to schedule a time to meet with him.

Professor Falcioni is not as hyped as he is on here. His lectures drag on way to long. He talks so fast you can barely understand him, he even openly admitted to talking too fast but he does not care so deal with it. His class is easy with very little assignment, this is good but also bad. There are 3 papers and one final test that make your grade.

Comment:

Dr. Falcioni was a great professor. Very smart & easy on the eyes. Participation is important & you do need to read the book to understand what is going on, but as long as you do that & try to understand the material you should be fine. Philosophy isn't a subject I'm very good at, but this class was interesting & never boring. Don't slack though!

AWESOME teacher. Hes super cool and is willing to work with you under certain circumstances. Hes a great teacher and very passionate about his work. Homework is easy and essays are pretty easy and straight forward. Always accepts rough drafts to critique before turning it in. Awesome guy.
