IGE courses are basically writing courses because there are no exams. Many students prefer that. Read the course description before taking a class if you are scared of having to do work. Yes, there are lots of papers and the first book is incredibly boring and poorly written. BUT, no exams, just some papers that you talk about your opinion. Easy A.

This Guy is terrible. You know you have a problem when you are spending more time on your GE class than your core classes. 30+ pages worth of writing and basically a short book per week and God forbid if your 5 minutes late. If your into talking and writing about the same thing over and over again and analyzing books all day then your good.

The dude tries hard to get you interested in the materiel. I didn't find much of the subject intriguing at all personally.. But if you want a passable credit class just take it. If you show up and put in a lil effort you're good.

I have had this professor multiple times for IGE, he is one of the best. He sometimes only nods and says mmhmm, but he gives the class a chance to challenge each other through discussion in TRUE IGE Fashion.

this guy sucks! he NEVER actually 'lectured'. cancelled class OFTEN (but wouldn't tell us ahead of time..only would hint the fact that he might not come to class) he just showed us films, made us do group work, and gave us the most retarted pop quizzes. the midterm is crazy. he gave us a study guide with a whole bunch of terms and events. and made us write on them (two essays and 8 PARAGRAPHS) he's hard to please when it comes to grading. kind of hard to get an A (i got a b and I did a LOT of work)

This is the easiest yet most annoying class in the world. He is a crappy teacher and dosn't lecture. You wont learn a thing and you waste your time. If you can write a decent paper then your almost guaranteed an A-. The class was extremely stupid and way too much reading and writing about usless pointless crap.
