This class was a lot. If you're looking for an easy A, do not take this class. I needed to pick up a class for GE credit and messed up by taking this class. It was fun but not easy!! Will hurt your GPA

Don is a very talented musician. He expects a lot from his students, almost too much. He expects his students to perform at the level he perform at. Overall, the class was a tough one. I would not recommend only because he expects students to be on his level.

I really had a hard time with this class. I have loved music since the day I was born but for some reason, this class was really hard for me. I have been playing instruments all my life and I was told I have been doing it wrong. Really upsetting.

The best teacher I've ever had. It's impossible to fail unless you just don't try. He is extremely clear and gives you study guides that are exactly the test. He does everything he can to make the class interesting.

Dr. Bailey was great! He is very easy to understand. If you study the test review that he gives you ( you go over it in class and he gives you the answers) there is NO reason why anyone should make anything believe an A in his class. This was probably the easiest class I have ever taken. Study, do the work, and go to class. That's it.

If there was a "2" I would take it again! I loved Mr. Bailey's class! The topic was of moderate interest to me in the beginning, but his PASSION makes it a great class! And he makes the material very easy to obtain and tries his best to make it understood. He most always available for assistance. Great teacher!

Don Bailey is my favorite teacher this semester and he may continue to be my favorite throughout the rest. He's absolutely amazing! He has a great attitude and he's super charismatic. As far as his lectures go, they're awesome. He's great at keeping your attention. Test are easy if you study the cram sheets and listen in class.

Don Bailey is in my opinion the greatest asset of UAFS. For a small university in Fort Smith, AR to have a professor so talented is very fortunate. The man is a musical genius, and yet he is so humble and kind. If you take a Music Appreciation course that isn't taught by Don Bailey I would argue that you don't truly appreciate music...

Outstanding professor and director of the music program. programmer of the bell tower and one hell of a musician. any student would do well to study under doctor bailey. he taught me more on the sax in one semester than three years of private lessons.
