Donna is a great teacher!!! She is has high expectations of her students, but provides clear instructions and is there to help if anyone needs it! I've really enjoy HKIN because of Active Health with her! This class inspires me to get active and to think about my health! Highly recommend taking this course, even if you are not HKIN!

Donna Perry is one of the most inspirational professor's I have ever had. She gives you all the information you need and will do everything in her power to help you and improve your writing. Gives lots of opportunity to succeed. She said she's retiring but we'll see, you can tell how passionate she is about teaching.

Donna Perry is an absolute godsend. She gives literally pages of feedback when it comes to paper critique. If you keep her in the loop of your life, she will work with you. She is not there to kill your GPA, she's there to actually teach you. Be open and honest with her. Talk to her. She is THERE TO HELP YOU. Lot of work. Wonderful professor.

This professor honestly sucks. Shell says she's fair yet she doesn't pay Amy attention to opinion and doesn't prepare you for anything. Her final? Ha! She told us it would be multiple choice, yet we ended up having to write 2 essays, one of which had 5 different parts to it that took a while to just brainstorm and she only gave us 45 minsto.

Very nice teacher. A little on the talkative side during class but is very helpful with work and assignments. She always takes attendance so make sure you show up to the class. We never have a test or quiz as long as you read what she assigns, which is not very often. She gives very little work to do and enough time to do it all. Take her class :)

VERY good teacher. If you like to write, this class is great. She is very helpful and CLEAR on what is needed as long as you show up and do the reading. Fairytales are a huge part of the class - it's awesome. Love that she gives you chances to fix your writing and gives you feedback where you want it. AWESOME teacher! Would definitely take again

An extremely kind and supportive professor. Very passionate about both the subject matter and her students' successes. Was willing to work with students and make revisions on their papers prior to official submission. Made sure each student had a clear understanding of the subject matter. Comment:

Professor Perry made this class so much more than it needs to be. For a 200 level course, she gave so much work. She is not clear about how she grades at all. She TALKS SO MUCH ABOUT NOTHING! She is strict about attendance, so come to class. Get extra help from outsiders and you will be ok. I did well with the help of others.

I took her for methods and 19th cent women. She is a great teacher. Very clear, helpful, kind, and understanding. Take her! She is so great, you'll learn a lot, but have fun while doing it. The only thing I didn't like was doing the oral presentation, but it wasn't so bad. You can work with someone if you want. She's awesome.

Dr. Perry is an excellent professor who is both knowledgable and passionate about literature. She is a fair grader, but be prepared to work hard! The class was Methods of Literary Analysis. Enthusiastic teacher, but not helpful. Would pick on people randomly in class, wasn't clear on assignments, mid-term, or final. Dominates the class with her own ranting.
