I like this guy, but he's not one to introduce a subject. I believe he would be great at the upper level courses. He would lose our papers or beat his forehead trying to remember his password to no avail. Some people might hate that, but I found it endearing.

This is by far the worst teacher I've had at Austin Peay. He expects way too much on the tests. He doesn't grade the homework in a timely manner. He marks things wrong that are clearly right in both the homework and the tests. Don't take him if you can help it. I think he is really smart, but he is not able to relate to the students at all.

I did not enjoy taking that class because he was so disorganized and the exams are hard as hell. I can give him credit for teaching us the techniques about designing web pages, but he never lets us get any hands-on experience in class.

He is serious about programming. Teaching style is more suited for upper division, so try to avoid taking him in lower levels. I've had him in 1010 and he put me to sleep, but I've also had him for 3000-4000 classes and I've always been wide awake.

Dr. Bateman's class is very hard to follow. The class has a hard time showing up, or even staying awake for that matter. HE takes forever to give test grades back
