Prof. Taylor is a super chill dude. You could skip a few classes without effecting grade. He gave readings but always explained them in depth during class. That's why papers were easy because he helped you understand the readings in class. He also lets you re-write papers as many times as you want to get your desired grade! Classoverall breeze.

He is a wonderful professor. He does give a lot of homework, but it is necessary and actually interesting. The things he talks about in class are so cool and mind boggling that I leave every class with a smarter mind. Do yourself a favor and get him as your professor.

He is a very nice guy and does give an incredible amount of homework. If he assigns an essay, he will still give you another smaller but still required writing assignment on top of that. Does clearly display what is required for an essay but seems to just give everyone a B. Also a lot of the readings required in class are very weird and morbid.

I had him for FYS, He's a good teacher. His papers do require a lot of effort, but the homework is reasonable. He down to earth and a nice guy. I'm a science major as well and though I do find the reports hard to fit into my schedule, the class is worth it, He really tries to make you think about life on a deeper level.

This professor is the worst one in the books! he is a really nice guy and tries to help you the best he can, but he gives a ton of homework as if there is nothing else in our schedule to do but FYS. i am a science major and personally do not have time for this nonsense!! switch out if you get him! SAVE YOURSELF!!

I like english so this was a fun class for me. Prof. Taylor is a cool guy. Very interesting class discussions that get students to think. His papers do require a decent amount or work and thinking but if you put some effort in to it you are guranteed at least a B. No tests or quizzes. HW is usually small reading assignments from the book.

He is really nice, but the class is really boring!! it seems like he doesnt have anyhting else for us to do so he just makes us get into groups and do pointless busy work. Lots of papers but they are short. He likes to give B's but it is possible to get an A with a little work. Overall it's not a bad class, just boring at times.

He's a really nice guy, but seems too interested in "group discussions" than english itself. So far we've written a lot of papers and the feedback is never really clear. I've heard that other english classes are harder, but others are also easier. Overall he's a nice guy and just try to get on his good side by speaking up in class.

Good class that wasn't too hard. Really encourages class discussions, but my section was really dull because barely anyone spoke up during class. Had to write quite a bit of papers, but most of them weren't too bad and some were even fun. Good teacher. I recommend him.

Nice guy. He's a fairly easy grader. Papers do take thought, but he's completely willing to help whenever. Class can be a bit ...dull at times, but overall not bad at all. If you're looking for an easier english 101/102 class, take it with him.

His class is so easy its a joke, but it is such a waste of time. All he does all class is talk about politics and war. The majority of class is not spent on English. So if you want an easy teacher take him but prepared to be annoyed and frustrated having to sit through his class.

Really nice, and funny guy, i liked him as well as his discussions. Only bad thing is he tends to be very into social issues, you spend alot of time talking about them in class. Huge on participation.
