Best online teacher so far. Very well structured and she is involved. Only complaint is the LoudCloud system. The tests and assignments were jumbled and did not match in the program. She was always quick to respond to my questions. Not an easy A, you hafta work for it, trust me. The final was 125 questions in 2 hours. I have 30 seconds left over!

This class was offered as a half semester- would not suggest taking it in this form, there was a lot of work each week- hard to keep up when you have other classes. Also has a very LONG final 150 questions.

She is one of the best professors I've had so far. She is so helpful when you ask any questions & you can tell she genuinely wants you to succeed in her speech class and speaking in life. She also provides honest suggestionscomments for improvements. Sometimes, the workload was a lot for one class but the effort was worth it for presentations.

I did not like this class. She was always 30mins late, didn't use the book, and stared off into space. When it came to Midterm everyone failed because we learned nothing. We we're on the syllabus for the first three weeks out of a 15 week course.

Ms. Fisher is a little challenging, but it is just so we will learn. She's really nice and understanding, and the effort you put into her class will be worth it. This class helped me in a lot of ways. Anyone should take Public Speaking with her.

One of the best teachers I've ever had at JCC and in my life. I took her COM 110 class and now I'm in Public Speaking. She may require a lot from students but you can learn a great deal. Shirley is very dedicated to her job and gives her all to help students learn.

I had Ms. Fisher for public speaking which was a requirement, and then I took her Oral Interpretation class as an elective. She's a little quirky but has good intentions. Her classes are NOT cake courses. You have to study and rehearse. I would definitely recommend her to future students.

I could not stand her. If you were not an untraditional student, she treated you like you were incompetent. She needs to work in geriatrics because obviously that is the only level that she can associate with.

Didn't care for how she teaches. She treats you like a little child when she talks to you, and that was very annoying and belittling. We had to do arts and crafts in the class which was just a waste of time and money.
