I took Dr. Crane a number of years ago and am writing belatedly to say that she was brilliant, cool, took a personalized interest in what I would major in and armed me with a set of critical principles that I try to wield to this day. If you're smart and curious she's not to be missed. If you want an easy grade, & don't care, try another class/prof

I wouldn't take this class if you are not a history major or upperclassman. As a core, I thought the class would be completely different but she is a very hard grader and if given the option, take another class.
