Gary is a really great guy. All these people must have really hated math. Assignments and tests are long but they aren't too hard plus you get cheat sheets on tests! He makes class fun with his jokes and he is a really great person always willing to help out!

Gary is not nearly as bad as people say. You get a full page cheat sheet for every test, the quizzes were all written by the TA and were super easy and you can replace your worst test grade with your average quiz grade, AND if you get an A on the final you automatically get an A in the class. Gary is a good guy, give him a chance.

Gary is a nice guy. I do definitely love his classes. His exams are not as bad as other people said, if you pay effort, you can get a good grade. I did pay a lot of effort, so I got more than 95 in all his exams. For the final, it's a bit long but you can still manage it if you really understand his stuff. Good math prof !!

Gary is not a good teacher. It is very clear that he has favorite students, if you?re not his favorite expected to work harder for a good grade. His lectures are not clear, he is not that helpful, and it is difficult to get any useful help from him. There are many other profs that are better than Gary that you could take. Do not take his class.

Gary always found a way to make this class hard. For 3 tests I missed my entire next class because they are so long. Final took me 3.5 hours. I would never recommend trying to do math for that long. I would not recommend taking him if it could be avoided.

I thought Gary was a great teacher! He allows you to use a sheet of paper on every test and FOUR on the final. Final was a little long...took me about 3 hours. I took this class at 8 am and didn't have too much trouble staying awake. Homework was reasonable.
