Comment:

Dr. Parks is an enigma. However, he can be your most valuable asset on campus. His passion for international affairs is only matched by his compassion for his students. This man is crazy, but after you take a couple of his classes you come to understand the method to his madness, and that is a very accurate statement.

Mr. Parks has been teaching for a long time and is very knowledgeable about his subject. However, his lectures are often difficult to follow and most papers aren't returned. He is a nice guy, but I have trouble following him.

i am a major so iv had many of his classes, but the first one i had was a welcome to college class with him. we were assigned a book to read and write a paper, so i did and tried to turn it in on the due date, and i was told to wait, the next class he screams at us all that we are worth less and should drop out. So ask your self is it worth it?

I had Mr. Parks for 5 or 6 classes from 1970-1975. I later spent 2 years at U of A, 1 at Northwestern and have a MFA from Ohio University. I have over 250 academic hours and Parks is the best I ever had.

it is hard to relate to his topics at times and he goes off into tangents. the best way to discribe parks all around is a mad hatter! but he is one of the best teacher i have had and i think that if you get to know him personaly you will love him!

He is the absolute best professor on campus. His classes may be difficult but you will learn more than you ever thought imaginable. I really don't know how I made it through the PLSC program without an occasional push from him. Thanks Park
