Comment:

Had her for intro to programming. Very flirty and friendly, seems more like a student. All you do is type in what she shows you in her "code with me" videos and you get an easy A. Skips hard stuff in the book. Lots of free time in class. Not sure if I learned anything, but she is funny. Take her for easy A but you probably won't learn much.

Comment:

Used a combination of one week lecture one week lab work. Which is which is clearly indicated on the schedule. Show up for the lecture and the lab work is relatively easy. Responds quickly to email. Very satisfied.

Material was a bit dry, but its difficult to make talking about router set up exciting. Very knowledge responded to emails quickly and had assignments that actually prepared you for her final. Over all a positive experience.

This teacher focuses on aspects that are now automated. Obviously nervous, even though been teaching for awhile. No assignments issued b/c she wasn't prepared. I walked away with an A and knowing almost nothing about that subject. Seek a better prof if you want a career in technology. She's definitely not the best at conveying knowledge.

I had a total of 7 lectures most of which only lasted for half the class. She was not helpful and told students that if they wanted help they needed to go out into the PC lab. She was not here to teach but to facilitate the lab. Very frustrating class and while I got a good grade its only because I got help on every project from programers I knew.

Awesome teacher. Very helpful and easy to understand. Her programming class was great. She taught a certain topic on a day, and if you had any questions, she would come and help clarify anything you didn't understand. Highly recommend.

The best teacher I have ever had. Love her and her teaching style. She has genuine interest in you and your learning. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed! RAPTOR is awesome! and she's kind of cute.

Comment:

Katie is one of the best instructors at GRCC. This was an advanced class, but if you have the prerequisites it should be pretty easy. Katie provides clear examples, code samples, semi-flexible deadlines, and extra credit opportunities. If you require help she's more than willing to go over your code with you. Do the work on time you're golden.

She is extremely nice and very helpful. A couple of times I couldn't turn in my homework on time because I had questions and she didn't mind as it being late as long as I made sure I asked questions later and understood the concept.
