Prof. Bauer is a fantastic professor. Calculus 2 is one of the hardest courses offered at LTU, but he makes it doable, and you can definitely do well in his class IF you keep up on the material. The lectures are a little overwhelming but the support material helps to make it more understandable. There is ungraded hw, graded hw, quizzes, then tests.

Professor Bauer is a great man and an even better Calc professor! He goes at a pretty quick pace in his lectures but he is a very good teacher and is always happy to see you outside of class. I would definitely take him again!!

The best professor I've ever had. I had failed Calculus 1 & 2 multiple times and really didn't like math before Prof. Bauer. Now, thanks to his teaching, I'm good at mathematics and I am a tutor and teaching assistant for mathematics-based courses. I actually enjoy, yes I said it, enjoy math now.

An amazing teacher. If only the teachers in my major were this good. He makes you work, but I went from hating math to loving it with this teacher. He really makes you learn. Rough on partial credit, but I'm glad I took him.

Bauer is one of the harder professors to teach differential equations but he knows his stuff. Not much partial credit either on the tests. Assigns homework every week to turn in and has 3 tests. His notes are great but very challenging professor.

He is a tough teacher when it comes to testing. He challenges you with story problems and his final was a bit challenging. But he goes through numerous examples and is always fair and impartial in grading. I would reccomend him for any math class.
