Glenn is a nice old man.He curve the test,sometimes the score can down to 20 points. He gives extra credits after test if you beat the high.Actually,the test is not very hard,u do not go to class every day.U can just read the book before doing the homework assignment.U will be OK! Final is a little diffiuclut,but if u read the book,ESAY A!Take him!

Mr. Knowles is completely unhelpful to the students. He composes his quizzes of questions designed to deliberately trick or mislead and often irrelevant to his lectures. I read every chapter that we covered in the textbook but still did poorly on quizzes. DO NOT take his class!

Mr. Knowles is very passionate about the subject matter in which he teaches. He is a wealth of knowledge and is extremely helpful if you ever have any questions regarding the subject matter. Yes, he does stutter however after the first week I barely even noticed it anymore. The "quizzes" aka tests were difficult but read the book and you're good.

Prof. Knowles does not teach economics in a clear or understandable way. Gives some of the hardest exams I've ever taken. I read all the chapters, did the homework, used the study guide, & still didn't understand the concepts on the tests, they seemed unrelated to the reading. Unless you can teach yourself business courses do not take him for econ

Knowles is not a good professor, he is unable to teach clearly and often spends more time telling you about useless information and rushing through the actual material. Though you can do fine by just reading the text book (which is actually interesting), you shouldn't have to rely on it to learn anything at all.

I loved him! If you read the book, do all the homework assignments, and use the study guide, which you can buy in the school store or rent from Murphy Library, you will do well in the class! His tests can be very hard, but he curves them so it is still easy to do well. I would definitely take another class of his.

Glenn Knowles is a super nice man, but his teaching lacks finesse. He is super helpful w/ all the homework, making it easy to get full credit. (He'll even curve tests sometimes up to 20 points lower than what it was initially worth!) However, the quizzes are difficult. Reading the text is a must- his lecture is simply reading to you. Decent teacher

i hated this guy. i dropped his class before the midterm. i didnt understand a thing he taught. i had to teach it to myself. it was painfully long, extremely dry, and harder than it needed to be. avoid taking him if you can.

Prof Knowles is a great guy and knows his stuff. He relates the material to real life to make it more understandable. You do have to read the book to do well on the exams so you do have to put in some effort

Professor Knowles knows anything and everythihng about the economy. Will answer every question you have, and if he doesnt know it, he'll find it for you. You do not need to go to class. Just do the homeworks, and theres a 8 page final research paper. Very nice guy, but very boring. Almost guarenteed a B in his class if you just do the work.

Extremely nice professor. He tells you exactly what he wants on the exams and homework. He's also willing to help you with the Homework-in-class, to be more exact, he gives you most of the solutions for them so all you have to do is just finishing some calculations

One of the better teachers in La Crosse. Very helpful and tells you what he is looking for you to do/learn in his classes. He gets sidetracked, but is easy to understand. As long as you do the homeworks and papers, you will be fine.
