I had Mr. Petry this year for english and I can tell you one thing for sure, he does grade really tough, but he loves to see what you can write. He's a little old man who's is curious about anything. In a class where you can write about pretty much everything, he is always so intrigued with what you write.

Dr. Petry is the sweetest person in the world. He is always willing to help even if he doesn't know how to sometimes. Yes his lectures are pointless sometimes, he still makes an effort and cares for his students. The class for me was an easy A! He is also super accommodating and funny at times! Definitely take his class if you can!!!

I really enjoyed having him for freshman english. He is really easy to talk to about your grade. Your grade consists of 5 papers, plus a midterm and final paper. The textsbooks arent THAT necessary but they give helpful examples and good sources, especially for the research paper..

I loved the papers I wrote for this class, as you can write about whatever subject is of interest to you. No hw other than papers. He grades fairly nicely, u have a few 1-on-1 conferences w him to help u thru-out the semester & attendance required but there are about 5 class periods u don't have class which was great.

Real sweet guy who is interested in what you've got to say but his classes are so so dry and pointless. 5 papers. pretty easy, but he takes attendance and then just kinda sits and asks everyone questions. hardly ever used textbooks. real nice guy. real easy class. boring.

This class is a joke!!! I use to get D's and F's on mostly all my papers in high school. On my first 2 papers i have gotten an A & B with bare minimum effort. He also is very helpful. If you have to take this class, I highly reccomend this professor.

He was an awesome professor, not too big on content, but make sure grammar is perfect. He will go over your paper with you if you have questions, seriously TAKE HIM, only downfall sometimes he keeps you in class for no reason.

Great teacher! My favorite so far at Bradley. Very interested in students and tries to help a lot. He's pretty goofy, but funny. He's also a very easy prof. and does not assign a lot of papers and gives a fair amount of time between each. Take him!
