Very complicated professor. He wasn't clear in any lecture that he was there for. He missed a lot of classes and never appeared to care about the students. One girl put it best when she said he was more interested in arguing with us then he was in teaching the class. He likes to single people out and shows favoritism to those who want to kiss butt.

Attendance and class participation is critical. test are very hard but does grade on a curve. Try to talk to him at least once in his office or outside of class. make it sound like you are interested in his class and want to learn. Ive had him 4 times, Human bio, fundamentals, diversity and history of bio. His tests seem impossibly hard but he really curves the grade at the end as long as you come to class and participate in discussions even if you don't know the answer say something! I think I got mid 70's on the tests and still got an A in his classes

He may be a hard teacher, but it is for everyone's best interest. I know for certain if you pay attention in class, read the course material, and study(not just the night before the test), you WILL pass. and yes, he was in Vietnam, the Navy to be exact!

Hard class, he's not always clear in what he wants, and has an offbeat kind of humor (you either get it or you don't) but if you speak up in class and are genuinely interested in the subject you will pass (even if your test grades are failing)

He wasn't disrespectful to our class, but the class itself was the hardest class I've ever taken. He moved off the subject and was confusing. The exams were ridiculous. I am so glad I got it over with a C.

I thought people were joking about him being horrible, but he's really a nightmare! I worked so hard and got a horrible grade. For the final alone, I studied 11 hours. Avoid him, I thought he'd push me into learning things, but he just made learning damn near impossible. He also missed three and a half weeks of classes. Stay away!

This class was extremely confusing. His teaching style is hard to follow. He is very easily distracted and does not clearly present the material for understanding. There is so much that he just assumes is common knowledge and it's not. He is the absolute worst professor I have ever had in my whole college career. Avoid at all costs!!

Funny guy, people think he's mean but he just has a very odd sene of humor, if u get it, he's a great prof. as long as you show interest he'll help you, but also VERY hard classes. But come on people, its college, classes will be hard, stop whining about it.

You have to rely on the curve in this class; otherwise there is no passing for anyone (except for the one girl who sat in the corner...) He's a fairly nice guy and helped me out when i was seriously lost. Hard hard HARD to take though!!!

Not only is he a TERRIBLE professor but he is also a liar.He said that he was willing to help in any way that he could but when it came down to it he blew me off. when he handed back one of the tests told the entire class that a 2nd grader would have done better.No control over the class. RUDE!!!!!!

Had him for 2 classes and really had no problem. It was difficult and he's not so clear sometimes, but I thought he was a nice guy. If you show interest and talk to him outside of class he will help you. Huge curve in the class. I swear I didn't get an A on anything but got an A in the class.
