I will miss Dr. Sapp very much(he is moving to Stetson University). He is a wonderful professor and made FYX worth my time. It was my favorite class by far because he is so good at leading discussion and making sure everyone is learning.

Comment:

Class wasn't too hard, tests were basically from the notes. However, I constantly got the distinct feeling he would rather be somewhere else than class. Also, he is not very helpful when it comes to trying to get an appointment for help.

I think Dr. Sapp is great, he's tough, but always fair. He does tell the same stories a lot but they are pretty funny. When I couldn't finish a semester he was super understanding about everything. You have to read, take notes and show to class to do well, but it's worth it!

I LOVE DR. SAPP!!! He's the best teacher I've ever had. His assignments are challenging and he he grades relatively fairly. You will learn a lot if you put in the work he asks of you!

I absolutely LOVE his class! He's a wonderful professor but his tests can be kind of difficult. As long as you keep up on reading and study, you'll do fine. He's pretty much guaranteed to make you laugh at least once during class. And you'll probably hear how he won the spelling bee in elementary school like 1374632985 times during the semester.

Do not take this class if you care about your GPA. The class discussion is interesting, but is completely errelavent to the papers. Sapp is funny sometimes but he is extremely pompus and arrogant.He makes you feel like you suck at life. He made me feel incompetent at writing even though I made good grades in my other classes.

Okay so I have to admit, I know Dr. Sapp pretty well - had him for FYX and GBK as a freshman, and then decided to take him for CHR (my minor), so I obviously like him a lot. I have tons of respect for him. He's a hard grader, but you get used to it. Plus if he likes you, you can make fun of him all you want!

Brilliant! He's challenging, but you'll learn a lot. I decided to minor in Christianity after taking his class over the summer. He takes a lot of time to help you, and will answer e-mails if you need help. I will take his class again.

Call him the Sappster; he'll love it. No but really, he is hard. Don't take him if you don't want to be challenged. It is worth it for some, and I haven't quite decided if it was worth it for me or not. But for real, he expects a lot from his students. And there is a lot of reading and writing. So watch out.

Great guy. Honestly. You'll hear bad things, but if you work hard and make a good grade, you'll feel accomplished where with other professors you get the grade just by being there. You earn your grade. Papers are hard, but by the end you'll master them.

Dr. Sapp is a hard professor. He has a loaded curriculum and expects you to write A LOT. Sapp grades incredibly hard on papers, but it is very helpful. Don't freak out if you feel like you aren't gonna make the grade. As it turns out, you will probably do better than you expected.

Most people think he is too hard, and he has definately frustrated me beyond belief a few times, but I really think that it is worth it. My papers are better, and I love the discussions we have in class. He's good, but you have to get used to him and know how to deal with him.
