Do need to take time after class to understand. Main issue for me was the tests. Definitely have to study. The teachers helpful when you don't understand something. Would recommend to those who want to get into this field.

Mr. Banks is respected because of his seniority but I would avoid taking his class. He demonstrates that he doesn't really understand the material that he is teaching by making dry attempts at humor and repeating phrases that only he understands. If you only need a grade then he is OK. If you actually want to learn the subject, look elsewhere.

It's not that Harry Banks is a bad teacher, it's more that he is extraordinarily boring for those that have any knowledge of the subject. He teaches for the lowest common denominator, which means repeating things five or six times. If you're a beginner, great class. Just make sure you have a tutor available to help with homework.

This class is beneficial. The instructor realizes he has a captured audience. His lectures are boring. When he actually shows you how to do stuff on the projector it is helpful. He is always early if you need help.

He is a little crazy. He is not willing to help you outside of the classroom. And can be very to get a hold of. The class is pretty easy, he says about 12 hours of out of class time, and its more like 6.

He is probably a good teacher, but he's also very picky - you could loose points on misspelling your file name, etc. He requires a lot of time outside of the class (12 hours per week), which I think is pretty unrealistic. His jokes are not funny and outdated. I would not recommend him to my friends.
