I had him for Statics. You get about 3 homework assignments a week on masteringengineering .com, which is an extremely picky online software. His in class lectures mostly consist of him answering questions from the homework. Most of the learning is done by yourself.

Jenkins is a relaxed professor that knows the material, but his lectures are fast-paced and confusing. He often abandons example problems before completing them, and rapidly clicks through any Powerpoint he uses. Homework was difficult; tests/quizzes were fair. His communication skills are poor, but if you ask for help, he's willing to give it.

If you want to learn from a powerpoint with no examples, take Jenkins. Maybe back in the day he was good, but he is not worth taking now. Take Mahaney or Mihut. You will be much better off. You come out understanding almost nothing about statics. His teaching methods are rough. The class average for his quizzes was 5.210.

I don't know if this Mr. Jenkins is as good as his counterpart Mr. Jenekins, but my guess is he is: Wonderful teacher. Very fair grader. Very fair test giver. Great at showing how theory applies via example problems. Although there was a lot of material to cover, I learned a great deal in his class.

Hodge is a good teacher. He's a bit unclear sometimes, but he knows what he's talking about. If you ask him a specific question, he will give you an answer right away. He is really layed back, and you can joke around with him in class.

Class notes and lectures are often a jumbled mess of nonsense, but this class is just way too much material for 1 semester. Hodge, is a great person and he knows his stuff. He is fair in that he doesn't expect you to memorize every detail. Easy tests.
