At first you think this class is going to be like every other math class, and for some people it will be that way. Ive taken 3 class with him and Ive learned that hes a caring professor who wants everyone to succeed, if they are willing to put in the work. Hes a smart guy also with advice. I highly recommend him to people who ARE NOT lazy!

Be careful he rate himself on this website, and you can tell that by certain words that he always uses inside the class, moreover; after every bad rating you will find a good one. Never take any class with this guy. He had no idea what is going on. More than half of the class dropped if that dont tell you something then good luck.

I'm happy that i chose Dakka again for math. Yes, at the beginning of the year he was moving fast, but he realized his err and smoothed out his lectures to be as clear as i had remembered them. Also, He gave my class a good chance! Most importantly, it is up to you to communicate clearly with him. He stands firm, but is very helpful if you ask!

He moves very fast and and gets frustrated when you do not understand him. Also, he does not seem enthusiastic about teaching you. this class is strictly reciting lecture out of his note.

I found Dr. Dakka to be an excellent professor because he is serious about his job, and wants to see his students succeed. Make sure that you really understand the material covered on each test. On a personal note, I really worked hard in his class. I made sure to ask questions, study a lot, and attend tutoring when I needed it. Good luck!

good teacher, I took him last semester and it was great! he's very clear when it comes to teaching the material and if you pay attention, its almost a guaranteed A. He's not super energetic but he'll crack a few jokes here and there. Im taking him again this semester because he's a good teacher. He wants you to do well. also no graded homework so..

Dr. Dakka is sincere in his teaching. He is passionate about math and his enthusiasm, although modest, is shared perceptibly enough through interesting footnotes that correspond to each subject before he gets into the working mechanics of it. Simply put, he makes math appreciable no matter what subject the student is decided in. University quality.

Dr. Dakka is by far one of the most amazing math instructors out there. He makes math simple and easy to learn. It is very easy to get an A in the class. He posts sample tests online, and there is extra credit on every exam. He cares about his students and is very sweet. Overall, I highly recommend people to take his class. 10/10 professor.

Dakka is a cool teacher. He has an accent but his pronunciation is fine. Class is mandatory. NEVER bring out phone or it will take away from free extra credit points at the end of the semester. Only 4/5 exams the entire semester no homework. Gives study exam on D2L with answers. Just understand the concept and you should be good!

Dr. Dakka is an amazing professor. He only grades tests and he drops the lowest grade. Offers 6 points extra credit if you dont use your phone all semester, which can bump your grade up 6% (A- to A, B- to B). Really would recommend taking him. Hes funny and makes the time fly by. The test are 100% from the lectures, so if you skip you wont pass.

Professor Dakka is a great math professor, especially since summer classes are only 8 weeks. He always makes sure that everyone knows what they are doing. He also drops the lowest test grade, but make sure to do the tests that he has online from other semesters and you'll be golden. He is not boring, but you cannot miss class or use your phone.

Professor Dakka wants his students to do well, but you have to put in the work to get a good grade in this class. Calc 1 is not an easy topic, but his explanations and lectures were very clear and he encourages everyone to ask questions. Study, study, study. Calculus aside, Professor Dakka is a great choice.

Dr. Dakka is by far the best math professor that I have ever had. Calculus is not an easy class, but somehow Dr. Dakka makes it very achievable and even fun. It is evident that he wants his students to succeed. Take advantage of the practice exams, as they are similar to the actual exams. Exams are very fair, just do your part and you'll do great!

Mr. Dakka is such an amazing professor. He doesn't assign homework. The class is based on test only. He drops the lowest one. He never moves on without everyone understanding the material. If you need help, before or after class he will always be willing to help. He sets you up for success. Honestly, the study guides are similar to the test.

10/10 math professor!! I've struggled with math my entire life but Dr. Dakka makes it so easy to understand. He provides a sample test that helps a lot. Pay attention in class and you will get and easy A+. He has a great sense of humor and makes math enjoyable. I will be taking his class again for 1150. Amazing teacher!
