I graduated in 2002 and had Dr. Baker for many classes my junior and senior year. After looking back, she may have been tough and give lots of work, but she was the best prof I had in college. The most helpful with realistic teaching to prep for the real world. Thanks for everything Dr. Baker :)

I cannot understand why everyone scared me for so long about Dr. Baker. She was not bad. If you don't ask dumb questions, don't try and attack her, don't talk back..then she won't attack you. Her students are her life and she really wants u to make a good grade, but u have to care and show her that you care. It's a lot of work but u will learn alot

Am currently taking interviewing with her; and finding that she's very belittling. CONSTANTLY interrupts when she askes for an answer, and absolutely cannot practices what she preaches--good interviewing communication with her students. makes doing hmk feel like a life/death situation; regretting slightly that i've signed up. don't take. DON'T.

Expect to be grilled alive. It was the hardest class I ever took, but I made an A because I devoted about three hours a week outside of class to reading and doing all the exercises. The way she teaches this class, it should be a graduate class. Can't afford to be absent or you will be lost or fail. She is Ursula the Sea Witch.

I had her for a summer class and i can tell you that emotional breakdown was a phrase that i used EVERY day. She was very enthused about her job, and yes very stuck on herself. It is possible to get an A, but because i bombed her final i got a B.

This ladies whole life focuses around her classes. You receive enough work to last the semester in just one of her classes. She drops numerous names and schools to make herself sound important. I'd do my best to avoid her, but it is not possible.
