Comment:

Dr. Slock is an interesting professor. He is funny and will go off on tangents about everyday events that he approves/disapproves of. The material that he teaches in biochemistry is very confusing and quite boring, although he tries his best to make it fun. His test questions can be difficult, but he does have a review for each exam. Recommended.

Such a nice guy! Tends to get a little boring at times, but gives you a good overview of what will be on the test. He teaches only the figures from the textbook, so no need to buy it. Helpfull with questions, although he likes to cancel problem hours a lot.

he is my favorite teacher here at kings college, his lectures are hard to follow but at the review before the test he tells you what to study in your notebook. He is extremely helpful! once you understand his testing its easy to pull of 90s. i love his tangents and he'll always remember you

Dr. Slock was a bit confusing at first for biology, but once you get the hang of his teachings, you realize that he is a great biology teacher. He also loves PCR. Great teacher

I love Dr. Slock. He's hilarious. You will definitely be entertained in his class. For lecture, he basically only teaches you the diagrams in the book, making the tests impossible. He always curves the tests though. He's great for lab. Definitely take him. It never takes the full 3 hours and he basically writes your lab notebook for you.

He is a hard teacher, but if you follow his notes and study only what he gives you... ALOT, it is an enjoyable class. You have to go to class. He makes it intersting though.

The guy really is difficult to understand at times and his lectures seem awkward. He should slow down, explain things better, and skip the filler details that really arent important to what hes going to ask on tests. However, he is a nice guy and is very intelligent. Take him if you are interested in the course, but dont expect a free ride.

where to start? You can teel that he is obviously a smart guy, but when it comes to teaching, forget it. He cannot teah his way out of a brown paper bag. Everything that comes out of his mouth has you guessing as to what he's talking about and how it's relevant to what is going on in class. Horrible! DON'T TAKE HIM UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE TO

HE isn't that bad of a teacher the only problem with him is he gets off topic to easily. He'll be talking about one topic and then switch to another mid thought..It leaves you guessing sometimes.
